While visiting nearby village of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, I found that fuel is a big problem for villagers. I thought of introducing the concept of biogas. I tried to identify the waste for making biogas. I found leaves can be used to make biogas.
Now, after some basic surfing from net I found following papers which gives some insight on making biogas using Leaf waste.
They are:
1) Two Phase Fermentation of Whole Leaf Biomass to Biogas
2) Solid phase fermentation of leaf biomass to biogas
3) Two-Stage Fungal Pre-Treatment for Improved Biogas Production from leaves
4) Plug flow digestors for biogas generation from leaf biomass
5) Field experience with leaf litter-based biogas plants
6) Two-phase anaerobic digestion of spent tea leaves for biogas
i want to know if all types of leafs produces same methane????or it varies with the the type of leaf?
